A documentary by Christopher Thomas to support the research of Creative Director, choreographer, teacher and dancer Carolyn Bolton as she works with the Chance To Dance: Connect company at the Royal Opera House.
Filmed over five weeks, documenting Carolyn’s process with the Chance to Dance: Connect programme as they prepare for their performance as part of the Next Generation Festival at The Linbury.
Chance To Dance: Connect is a wonderful and important programme that provides opportunities for young global majority heritage dancers within Royal Opera House.
Note from the filmmaker: To witness Carolyn’s approach is inspiring; she’s pioneering a teaching approach focused on care, nurturing and fun, facilitating a safe space for the young dancers to thrive.
